Welcome
The Trauma Healing Center is pleased to announce we will be offering a new set of resources and materials to our Community Caregivers and the people in need of care in our communities. Dr. Alaine Pakkala, founder of Lydia Discipleship Ministries, has spent more than 30 years developing written training materials, videos, and podcasts designed to help people develop a deeper relationship with the Lord and find the healing they have been looking for.
Trauma Healing Center and
Lydia Discipleship Ministries
As organizations, Trauma Healing Center and Lydia Discipleship Ministries have two big things in common. Both of us focus on training those who are helping survivors and equipping survivors with resources for healing. We also both believe the Lord has a plan and strategy for bringing hope and healing to those who are dealing with complex trauma issues. This includes people who have experienced domestic violence, childhood abuse, ritual abuse, dissociation, and a wide variety of other traumatic experiences.

As both THC and LDM have prayed about this transition, we have felt the Lord was directing us toward moving our resources together. With Dr. Pakkala moving into retirement, we are honored to continue to offer her resources and materials along with those we already offer at the Trauma Healing Center.
A Special Message from Melissa and Alaine
LDM Resources and
the Legacy Fund
Soon you will be able to find resources such as Discipling the Shattered, Laura, Alaine's Tiny Talks, and many other resources on our website! We are honored to carry these resources that represent so much of what God has done through LDM and what he is continuing to do for Community Caregivers and trauma survivors in America and across the world!

This fund is hosted by Trauma Healing Center in acknowledgement of Dr. Alaine Pakkala's 30 years of service to the Kingdom of God through Lydia Discipleship Ministries. During these 30 years, Dr. Pakkala has developed training materials, videos, books, and many other resources for trainers and survivors alike.
We believe in the principle found in Luke 10:10 that a workman is worthy of his wages. In light of this, we will be compensating Dr. Pakkala for the use of her print and digital resources, as well as the intellectual property connected to these resources and the website she created for Lydia Discipleship. If you would like to support the continued availability of these resources, you may make a donation to the Legacy Fund. Trauma Healing Center is 501(C)3. Your donations will be tax deductible.
